How To Be MoreThan A Conqueror Pt. 3
The goal of being more than a conqueror is Biblical according to Romans 8:37. But…are we successful? What might be another reason our enemies seem to have the upper hand in our lives? Could it be our loyalty? Are we wholly the Lord’s? Or are we just wanting Him to fix a part of us and the rest we can keep for ourselves? Could it be that we want life to be easier, better, less stressful? But, surrendering to God is asking too much.
I am reading through the Old Testament right now and it has become very apparent that God will help His people who are loyal to Him. But if they turn aside from following with their whole being, and life gets difficult, they still want God to help them. He is expected to make life better for them. But, that isn’t the case. They are on their own.
I think today we want to live life as we see best and when we have a serious problem we want God to fix it for us. But not to surrender to Him. Not to accept the facts of Romans 6-8.
God has a victorious life for each of us if we will walk away from ourselves and follow Him. Be brave. Surrender your entire life to God. You will be so surprised to find such peace and joy. There will be times that are difficult, but keep surrendering. You will be glad you did.

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. NKJV
Prayer – O God, may we see that it is only our selves that is preventing a walk, a life with You that is a life of a conqueror. Amen
