Today I am just going to list some Bible references regarding loving God. As I was reading recently, a couple of these verses caught my attention. So I explored it further. I’ve heard some of these verses read… incompletely. 

Deuteronomy 6:5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. ESV

Matthew 22:37Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ NKJV

Eph.6:24 Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love. NIV

2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing. ESV

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. NKJV

James 2:5  Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? NKJV

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” NKJV

Romans 8:28 But we *do* know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose. DBY

1 Corinthians 8:3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him. NKJV
