Do you have a focused life?

What or who might be clouding your vision causing your life to be out of focus? What is it focused on?

A toddler’s view is out of focus. Her focus will become clearer as she matures. But, at this age it is all about me and now. It is impossible for her to see more than today.

As adults, we can become so fixated on certain events or people that we can’t see clearly. If we focus on the difficulty before us, our eyes will be off of Jesus. Peter began to sink when he took his eyes off of Jesus and looked at his problem. Matthew 14:22-33

Jesus, Our Focus

If our focus is the Shepherd of our souls trusting Him for today and tomorrow, He will give us clear vision. As we look to Him, keeping our heart centered on Him during every interaction with people, in the middle of every boring chore, and in every crisis, He will impart His peace and wisdom.  

Let’s focus our attention on Jesus. Then our whole life will be in focus like never before.

Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

Lord Jesus, Help us to bring our concerns to You then keep our eyes on You trusting You to provide all we need.
